SEVENTEEN’s special unit Boo Seok-soon (Seungkwan, Dokyeom, Hoshi) will return to fans on January 8 with their second single, ‘TELEPARTY’. This new album, which will be released after about two years, contains Boo Seok-soon’s characteristic cheerfulness and warm message with the theme of ‘youth’.
On the 27th at midnight, Pledis Entertainment released the trailer video ‘How is your youth?’ through the Hive Labels YouTube channel and SEVENTEEN’s official SNS. The video conveys sympathy and support to those who are tired of school, work, and daily life based on Boo Seok-soon’s message that “youth is right now.”
In the trailer, Boo Seok-soon transforms into a ‘guardian of youth’ by giving freedom to students who are focused on their studies and working overtime for office workers who are tired from excessive work. In particular, the scene of adding joy to the daily lives of two middle-aged people and conveying the meaning of youth that transcends generations is heartwarming.
Also, actor Moon Sang-hoon from the popular YouTube channel ‘Paderus’ made a cameo appearance, adding to the fun of the trailer. Moon Sang-hoon transformed into his signature character ‘Mr. Moon’ and showed off a hilarious situational drama with Bu Seok-soon, making everyone laugh.
Bu Seok-soon’s second single, ‘TELEPARTY’, is a combination of ‘Telepathy’ and ‘Party’, expressing ‘a festival connected to everyone in the world’. This album contains a positive message that “If you’re happy at this moment, everyone is young”, and as it was produced with great care since the first half of this year, high levels of completion are expected.
Since the release of their first single ‘SECOND WIND’ in February 2022, Bu Seok-soon has established themselves as the ‘strongest K-pop unit’ by achieving the highest initial sales of a K-pop unit album with the title song ‘Fighting (Feat. Lee Young-ji)’, #1 on major domestic music charts, and winning 8 music show awards.
