RIIZE Remakes TVXQ’s ‘Hug’ for SM Entertainment’s 30th Anniversary Album

The updated version blends the Y2K sensibility with modern, trendy sounds to create a Newtro atmosphere. The track opens with RIIZE’s smooth a cappella harmonies, which seamlessly transition into their bright and fresh vocals, capturing the essence of the original while adding their own unique flair. RIIZE’s version of “Hug” will be available for streaming on major platforms, including Melon, Flo, Genie, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, Kugou Music, and Kuwo Music, starting at 6 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Additionally, the group will debut the song live for the first time at the ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025’ concert, which will be held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on January 11-12. This concert will be streamed globally via the Beyond LIVE platform and Weverse, allowing fans both online and in-person to experience RIIZE’s live performance.
