Hello to everyone, hoping we are all doing fabulous! Finally on winter break and I can’t wait to make tons of fun memories these weeks! As promised here’s my newest posts on my first ever kpop concert with Enhypen!
Please bear with me as I tend to yap alot in terms of writing, if I could I’d write a whole book on this experience but I’ll try to keep it short and sweet ❤️
Everyone knows a must do on almost every kpop fans bucket list is to attend a live concert and see their favorite artists up close like never before!
I had the privilege to have my very first concert with Enhypen for their Fate world tour back in 2023 during the month of October in Glendale AZ.
I will definitely say getting the tickets was such an exhilarating experience. I still remember rushing home from my summer job back in June 2023 and practically lunging at my laptop to get tickets. The moment I made the purchase and got my digital receipt I practically cried with joy knowing I was going to see one of my ultimate groups soon.
The months leading up to October went by super slow and I just couldn’t wait for the days to fly by. Coincidentally the day of the concert I had an exam for a college course I was taking and unfortunately I was not able to drive to Glendale early to make the merch lines. Finally that afternoon, we drove about two hours to get to the venue and these were the absolute most terrifying hours of my life. Traffic was bad, there were multiple accidents we passed and the clock kept ticking closer to the hour. After a while we made it to the venue about 10 minutes before the doors opened and by then the merch lines were miles long. So yeah, I did not end up being able to buy concert merch which I so badly wanted.
When we got to the venue we were immediately greeted by a sweet engene who gave us each a random photocard along with a cute homemade bracelet. I was given Heesung (SCORE)!! Soon after getting in line we made it inside the venue and were greeted with the sight of SO many engines everywhere of all ages. Stepping into the concert area was a dream! We got nosebleed seats but could see everything from there, the red lighting for effect, the music videos playing with engenes cheering along.
Then finally around half an hour later that’s where the magic happens. The lights dim, fans practically stay silent with desperation and that’s when Enhypen appears one by one on stage. When I told you I started crying, screaming and felt like I was dreaming, I practically felt my heart stop! As we all know all the Enhypen members are literal walking masterpieces but in real life they look ethereal, like, it makes you wonder how these seven young men even exist!! And the live vocals?! UNBELIEVABLE!! It gave me goosebumps to actually get to listen to their beautiful voices live! I remember shouting and singing at the top of my lungs from the moment Drunk Dazed began all the way until the finale being Bite Me. (And yes, my voice was gone by that same night). All the members were absolutely fun to watch perform, during small little breaks they each interacted with fans doing chants, making funny remarks, we even got to see Jay and Ni-ki do a whole mini dance break! And the amount of times I screeched Jungwon’s name, I lost count haha.
I would say more but an experience like this is so hard to put into words, which is why I really do hope lots of other fans get to live an experience like this. It is truly out of this world and memories that will last a lifetime come from here.
I have attached pictures of the concert and have over 12 videos in my camera roll (RIP my storage)! It was definitely the best night ever and I hope I get to see Enhypen perform again live soon!
