Girl group GFriend will be returning as a full group after about 5 years to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary. They will pre-release a new song on January 6th of next year, and will officially release their special album ‘Season of Memories’ on January 13th at 6PM to reunite with fans.
This will be the first time GFriend has released an album since their third full-length album ‘회: Walpurgisnacht’ in November 2020, and this new album is a special album planned to commemorate their 10th debut anniversary. As they are returning after a long hiatus, K-pop fans are very curious about what kind of music they will present.
Since their debut, GFriend has been loved for their diverse musical spectrum, from the innocent concept represented by ‘유리구슬’ and ‘오늘의 어둣’ to the hazy songs ‘륜까지’ and ‘밤’, and the captivating stage performances of ‘Apple’ and ‘마고’. Expectations are also rising for how this comeback will capture GFRIEND’s unique sensibility.

10th Anniversary Concert and Global Tour
GFRIEND will also hold a solo concert to commemorate their 10th debut anniversary along with the release of their album. This concert will be held for three days from January 17th to 19th at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, and sold out all tickets as soon as they opened, proving the high expectations of fans.
After that, GFRIEND will continue their activities with an Asian tour. They will meet with overseas fans by visiting four cities: Osaka on March 9th, Yokohama on March 11th, Hong Kong on March 14th, and Taipei on March 29th.
Special Connection with Fans
GFRIEND fired the signal flare for their comeback with the ‘Killing Voice’ video from Dingo Music on the 10th of this month. In the video, they performed a live medley of hit songs, recalling fans’ memories and showing off their unrivaled skills. In addition, the rhythm game ‘Superstar GFriend’ will reopen for about 3 months from January 7th next year, giving special enjoyment to fans.
After going their separate ways after the end of their exclusive contracts with their agencies in 2021, GFriend has reunited to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
